One exciting outcome of the Malad Valley Welsh Festival is the compilation of a history of early settlers in Malad Valley. 

Volume I includes pioneers who settled here before 1870. 

Volume II will include more settlers who came to Malad Valley before 1880. 

Volume III covers the settlers who came to Malad Valley before 1890
